We are seeking a dedicated and skilled German Language Instructor to join our team in Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the German language and experience teaching students at various proficiency levels. This role involves preparing learners for academic, professional, and international opportunities by delivering comprehensive language instruction. The position is full-time and offers a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging German language classes for students ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
- Teach all aspects of the language including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Develop lesson plans, classroom activities, exercises, and relevant learning materials.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, tests, and practical speaking exercises.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their language skills.
- Prepare students for recognized German language proficiency exams such as A1, A2, B1, and B2.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
- Foster an interactive and positive classroom environment that encourages learning.
- Stay updated on effective language teaching methodologies and relevant German language resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in German Language, Linguistics, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong command of the German language with a minimum proficiency level of B2/C1 preferred.
- Previous teaching or training experience is advantageous.
- Good communication skills in English and/or Urdu.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students at different learning levels.
- Professionalism, punctuality, patience, and a commitment to student development.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certification from Goethe-Institut or other recognized German language institutions is highly desirable.
