German Language Instructor

GSL Pakistan, a reputable study abroad consultancy and language coaching institute with branches in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar, is seeking a dedicated German Language Instructor for its Peshawar branch located on Main University Road. The role involves teaching German language courses from beginner (A1) to upper-intermediate (B2) levels, preparing students for internationally recognized German proficiency exams, and supporting their academic and career goals related to studying, working, and settling abroad. The instructor will work closely with the Branch Manager and Head Academic Coordinator in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver German language instruction at A1, A2, B1, and B2 CEFR levels through both in-person and online classes.
- Prepare students for German proficiency exams such as Goethe-Zertifikat, ÖSD, and telc.
- Teach all four language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking (Lesen, Schreiben, Hören, Sprechen).
- Plan and execute structured lessons aligned with the course syllabus, ensuring completion of each level within the designated timeframe.
- Conduct mock tests, evaluate student progress, and provide clear, constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, class progress, and exam results, and regularly update the academic coordinator.
- Conduct demo classes and engage with prospective students to assist with enrolment processes when required.
- Provide students with insights into German culture, study and work environments in Germany, and guidance on visa interview expectations where applicable.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline.
- German language certification at B2 level or above (Goethe, ÖSD, or telc); C1 certification is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in German is desirable; however, candidates with strong German language skills but limited teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in English and Urdu to effectively explain grammar and language concepts to beginners.
- Solid understanding of German grammar, pronunciation, and exam formats for levels A1 through B2.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a professional demeanor.
- Comfortable using computers and online teaching platforms.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- The position offers a fixed monthly salary ranging from PKR 60,000 to PKR 75,000, along with performance-based incentives.
