Global certification Associate

Shark Innovation Labs, located on II Chundrigar Road, Karachi, is seeking a detail-oriented Global Certification Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various certification processes and ensuring compliance with international shipping and destination-specific requirements. This role demands strong coordination skills and the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders, including third-party inspection agencies and overseas partners, to facilitate smooth and timely certification of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

- Process Certificates of Conformity (CoC), CNCA-related documentation, ECTN/CTN, and other destination-specific certifications essential for international shipments.
- Coordinate effectively with third-party inspection agencies such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, and Cotecna to ensure all certifications are obtained accurately and on time.
- Handle Bill of Lading (B/L) verification, amendments, and other related shipping documentation to maintain compliance with shipping standards.
- Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, and inspection agencies to guarantee timely certification and shipment clearance.
- Verify shipment documents thoroughly to ensure they meet the destination country’s regulatory requirements.
- Track certification applications, follow up on pending approvals, and maintain precise and up-to-date records of all documentation and processes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, shipping documentation, or certification processing.
- Strong knowledge of Bill of Lading (B/L), ECTN/CTN, Certificate of Conformity (CoC), and other international shipment documentation.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and follow-up skills to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure timely completion of tasks.
