GoHighLevel Dashboard & Automation Developer

We are seeking an experienced GoHighLevel Dashboard & Automation Developer to join our fully remote recruitment company. This role involves building a custom, two-way synced internal dashboard that will serve as the central workspace for our global recruiting team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in GoHighLevel, API/webhook integration, and workflow automation to streamline recruiting operations. You will be responsible for designing and developing a purpose-built interface on top of GoHighLevel (GHL), enabling recruiters, sourcers, and admin staff to perform all daily tasks without directly logging into GHL. This is a full-time contract position working US Eastern Time business hours, open globally, with a salary range of $1,500 to $3,000 USD per month. A C1 English proficiency level is required, as all communication during the shift will be in English.

Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development: Map team workflows and build role-based views for recruiters, sourcers, and management. Create custom screens for candidates, job orders, client pipelines, tasks, calendars, and multi-channel messaging. Develop KPI reporting dashboards to track performance.
- GoHighLevel API Integration: Connect the dashboard using GHL API v2, OAuth, webhooks, and custom fields/objects. Design data architectures that handle rate limits and error logging efficiently to ensure seamless two-way data synchronization.
- Workflow Automation: Build automated workflows using GHL, Make, n8n, or Zapier for candidate intake, CV parsing, interview scheduling, reminders, and status updates for candidates and clients.
- Documentation & System Ownership: Maintain thorough system documentation, train internal team members, and continuously optimize the platform based on user feedback and evolving needs.

Required Qualifications
- GoHighLevel Mastery: Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with GHL, including workflows, pipelines, custom fields, custom objects, and snapshots.
- API & Integration Expertise: Proven ability to work with GHL API v2, OAuth, and webhooks to enable real-time, two-way syncing.
- Dashboard Development: Experience building custom web applications or internal tools using coding frameworks such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, or low-code platforms like Retool, Softr, Bubble, WeWeb, or Glide.
- Automation Platforms: Advanced skills in automation tools such as Make, n8n, or Zapier.
- Data & Communication: Strong data structuring capabilities, self-directed project management, and excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience in recruitment, staffing, or ATS platforms such as Bullhorn, JobAdder, or Recruit CRM.
- Familiarity with CV parsing tools, job board APIs (LinkedIn, Indeed), or AI-based candidate screening technologies.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations like POPIA and GDPR.
- Basic UI/UX design experience to enhance user interaction and dashboard usability.

The successful candidate will lead this project end-to-end, from initial requirements gathering through launch and ongoing enhancements. Key milestones include auditing the current GHL setup and delivering a detailed build plan within the first 30 days, launching a functional V1 dashboard with core automations by day 60, and rolling out the full solution with management reporting and training by day 90.
