Key Responsibilities
You will support teams across Macquarie Asset Management in interpreting and implementing governance requirements related to data, AI, and records management. This includes ensuring that effective controls are in place and compliance obligations are consistently met. You will proactively assess governance outcomes, identify potential issues, and drive them to resolution by collaborating with stakeholders across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with detailed processes and influencing how a global organisation governs its data assets.
Required Qualifications
- Experience assisting business teams in meeting governance, policy, or control requirements within data, technology, or risk environments.
- Working knowledge of data governance principles, including ownership, data quality, lineage, and metadata management, along with an understanding of emerging AI governance standards.
- Proven ability to own outcomes end-to-end, including managing remediation efforts effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in documentation, evidence collection, and traceability.
- Confidence in guiding and influencing senior stakeholders across business, data, and risk functions on a global scale.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as APRA CPS 230/234 or equivalent regulations like EU DORA and the EU AI Act is advantageous.
