Graphic Design Intern

YaqeenPk is Pakistan’s first online marketplace built entirely around trust and safety in digital commerce. The platform ensures the verification of every seller’s identity through CNIC and employs an escrow-based payment system to protect both buyers and sellers from fraud. Specializing in phones, laptops, and electronics, YaqeenPk offers features such as condition grading, price intelligence, and structured dispute resolution. Designed specifically for the local market, the company aims to establish a safe, transparent, and fair online buying experience across Pakistan by 2026.

The Graphic Design Intern position is an unpaid remote internship focused on supporting YaqeenPk’s visual communication and brand presence across various digital channels. The intern will be responsible for creating social media graphics, marketing banners, and promotional visuals that align with the company’s brand guidelines. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-growing, mission-driven startup environment, providing exposure to real-world design challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop social media graphics, marketing banners, and promotional visuals consistent with brand standards.
- Assist in refining logos, selecting typography, and designing layouts for both web and mobile platforms.
- Perform basic image editing tasks such as retouching, resizing, and optimizing images for digital use.
- Prepare design files for digital deployment ensuring quality and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to maintain cohesive branding across all touchpoints.
- Follow brand guidelines carefully and incorporate feedback constructively to improve design outputs.

Required Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of graphic design principles including composition, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Skills in logo design and branding, with the ability to translate brand values into cohesive visual identities.
- Proficiency in image editing techniques such as basic retouching, resizing, and optimization for digital platforms.
- Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent tools.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while communicating effectively within a team.
