Graphic Designer Intern

Midas Online is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer Intern to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant experience who are eager to develop their skills in a dynamic agency environment. The role involves creating compelling visual content for both digital and print platforms, ensuring designs align with client briefs and brand guidelines. The monthly salary ranges from PKR 60,000 to 80,000, depending on skills and portfolio quality. This position requires strong fundamentals in layout, typography, and visual consistency, along with the ability to take feedback and refine work accordingly. The internship is based on-site.

Key Responsibilities

- Design a variety of digital assets including social media posts, carousels, ad creatives, and banners.
- Develop layouts for presentations, company profiles, brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials.
- Understand the target audience, message, and purpose before initiating any design work.
- Conduct research to gather visual references and prepare mood boards or initial creative concepts.
- Create designs with clear visual hierarchy, balanced spacing, and legible typography.
- Contribute relevant ideas aligned with the communication objectives of each brief.
- Maintain brand consistency by adhering to approved colors, fonts, imagery, and design language.
- Apply brand guidelines consistently across multiple formats and materials.
- Adapt existing designs for new sizes and placements while preserving clarity and quality.
- Collaborate with content and social media teams to ensure cohesive messaging between copy and visuals.
- Support the creation of reusable layouts and templates within established brand systems.
- Present design work clearly, explaining visual choices to stakeholders.
- Implement feedback accurately and review revisions thoroughly before resubmission.
- Check designs for spelling, alignment, spacing, image quality, and brand adherence.
- Prepare final digital and print files in the required dimensions, formats, and resolutions.
- Maintain organized working files, linked assets, and clearly named versions.
- Manage deadlines effectively and communicate any missing assets or unclear requirements promptly.

Required Qualifications

- A portfolio showcasing strong skills in layout, typography, and visual communication.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Solid understanding of color theory, composition, visual hierarchy, and design consistency.
- Ability to interpret briefs and work within diverse client brand guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and a thoughtful approach to revisions.
- Clear communication skills, openness to feedback, and reliable time management.
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, InDesign, or Canva.
- Knowledge of print production requirements including bleed, margins, color modes, and resolution.
- Basic skills in motion graphics or animation.
- Experience with branding, presentation design, or campaign creatives.

Success in this role is defined by producing clear, purposeful designs that consistently follow brand guidelines, accurately incorporate revisions, and deliver well-prepared files. The ability to articulate design decisions and support the objectives of each brief is essential.
