WBM Pvt. Ltd., based in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Cosmetic & Pharmaceutical Packaging Designer with 2 to 4 years of professional experience. This full-time role involves designing packaging and labels for cosmetic, skincare, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and consumer products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of packaging layouts, branding, print specifications, and the technical requirements necessary to prepare professional, print-ready artwork. The position requires working hours from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and is offered on a two-year contract basis. The role is on-site, providing an opportunity to contribute to diverse product packaging projects within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design packaging for cosmetic, skincare, pharmaceutical, and healthcare products, including boxes, bottles, jars, tubes, sachets, pouches, labels, and cartons.
- Develop product labels and packaging concepts aligned with brand guidelines.
- Work with dielines, dimensions, typography, barcodes, and product information to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare precise print-ready artwork that meets production specifications.
- Ensure packaging designs comply with printing and production requirements.
- Create realistic product mockups and presentations for internal and client review.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and production teams.
- Revise designs based on feedback while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Maintain consistency across product ranges and packaging formats.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a focus on packaging design.
- Proven experience specifically in cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical packaging design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in packaging, labels, cartons, and product designs.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Solid knowledge of dielines, CMYK color mode, bleed, print specifications, and prepress processes.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, branding, and visual hierarchy principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially when handling product information and labels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines consistently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Experience with pharmaceutical or healthcare packaging is an advantage.
