GRE/GMAT Instructor

The GRE/GMAT Instructor role is a part-time, online position responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons centered on the GRE and GMAT quantitative, verbal, and analytical writing sections. Instructors will utilize Tutoria’s curriculum and materials to plan classes, explain key concepts, demonstrate effective problem-solving strategies, assign and review practice work, and provide individualized feedback to students. This role also includes tracking student progress through diagnostic assessments and adapting teaching methods to address any performance gaps. Collaboration with colleagues on curriculum enhancements, contributing to exam-prep resources, and participation in workshops or information sessions for prospective students are additional aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver comprehensive lessons covering GRE and GMAT quantitative, verbal, and analytical writing sections.
- Plan classes and explain complex concepts clearly and patiently to students.
- Demonstrate problem-solving strategies and assign relevant practice exercises.
- Review student work and provide personalized feedback to support improvement.
- Monitor and track student progress using diagnostic assessments and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with team members to improve curriculum and develop exam preparation resources.
- Participate in workshops and information sessions aimed at prospective students.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of GRE and GMAT content, including quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, and analytical writing.
- Proven experience in teaching, coaching, or tutoring, preferably within test preparation or higher education settings.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and patiently.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including familiarity with standardized test strategies and time management techniques.
- Ability to develop structured lesson plans and adapt instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Proficient in using data to monitor and enhance student performance.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in a quantitative, business, education, or language-related discipline.
- Comfortable working in an on-site classroom environment in Lahore with a collaborative, student-focused approach.
