We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage the processing and verification of Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for incoming stock. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate documentation and coordination between warehouse, procurement, and accounts teams to maintain smooth inventory operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently with ERP and stock management systems to support timely stock availability and invoice processing.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and process Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for all incoming stock shipments.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans, and other supporting documents to ensure accuracy.
- Check product quantities, item descriptions, batch numbers, expiry dates, and other relevant details for compliance.
- Identify and report discrepancies such as shortages, excess quantities, damaged goods, or incorrect items promptly.
- Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams to resolve any receiving discrepancies.
- Accurately enter and update all GRNs in the ERP or stock management system.
- Maintain organized records of GRNs and all related documentation.
- Work closely with the Accounts Payable department regarding invoice and receiving documentation.
- Communicate with suppliers to address any discrepancies or incomplete deliveries as needed.
- Ensure timely completion of GRNs to prevent delays in stock availability and invoice processing.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through proper documentation.
- Prepare daily or weekly GRN and receiving reports when required.
- Follow company procedures and internal controls related to stock receiving and documentation.
- Perform additional duties related to receiving and inventory documentation as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

Preferred Experience and Skills

- Experience working in retail, supermarket, pharmacy, FMCG, or distribution environments.
- Proven ability to handle high-volume stock receiving operations.
- Knowledge of batch control, expiry tracking, and inventory control processes.
- Previous experience in GRN processing, inventory management, warehouse, receiving, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data handling and reporting.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management software is highly preferred.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective coordination and communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs37,000 to Rs40,000. This is an in-person role requiring physical presence at the designated work location.
