S. Zia-Ul-Haq & Sons Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Hardware Procurement Officer with 4 to 5 years of experience specializing in sourcing materials across Automobile, Construction, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, and General Hardware sectors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in vendor management, vendor qualification and risk management (VQRM), supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations, and ensuring timely procurement. The role demands a focus on maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and compliance throughout the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials related to Automobile, Construction, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, and General Hardware.
- Obtain quotations through Request for Quotation (RFQ), conduct commercial evaluations, and negotiate favorable prices and payment terms.
- Manage and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Conduct Vendor Qualification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Management (VQRM) processes to mitigate supplier-related risks.
- Prepare and maintain detailed supply chain reports, procurement records, and supplier performance data.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure uninterrupted material availability and resolve supply-related issues.
- Monitor supplier performance, pricing trends, and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Support inventory planning and contribute to logistics and supply chain functions as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain or procurement roles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory control, and other supply chain functions will be considered an advantage. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 100,000. Additional benefits include food provision, pick and drop service, annual bonus, gratuity, and EOBI coverage. The role is based in Gadap Town, Karachi, and requires in-person attendance.
