We are seeking a skilled professional with a background in computer or electrical engineering, or a related field in computer hardware and electronics, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hardware service and maintenance, along with strong technical abilities in both computer and software domains. This role requires a proactive individual who is accountable, works well within a team, and possesses excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hardware service and maintenance tasks efficiently to ensure optimal functioning of computer systems and related equipment.
- Configure and troubleshoot operating systems, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Manage and maintain laser printers, applying technical knowledge to resolve issues and perform routine upkeep.
- Collaborate with team members to support hardware and software needs, contributing positively to team goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve technical challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related major focused on computer hardware or electronics.
- Completion of FA/FSc from a recognized university.
- Diploma in Hardware with proven experience in hardware service and maintenance.
- Proficiency in OS configuration for both Windows and Linux platforms.
- Strong personal accountability and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Knowledge and experience with laser printer maintenance will be considered an added advantage.
- Candidates who demonstrate specific computer and software abilities beyond the basic requirements will be preferred.
