We are seeking an experienced Head of Credit Cards to lead and expand our credit card portfolio based in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on credit cards and digital banking. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can drive growth, manage risks, and enhance digital product offerings while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 600,000 to 800,000 and requires full-time, in-person commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and effectively manage the credit card portfolio.
- Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of digital credit card products.
- Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities to expand the portfolio.
- Oversee credit card risk management processes and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
- Monitor portfolio performance through KPIs and other business metrics to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the credit card team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to drive business growth and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial services, specifically in credit cards and digital banking environments.
- Strong knowledge of digital banking platforms, payment systems, risk management, compliance frameworks, and Islamic banking principles.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, leadership qualities, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
