Head of Maintenance and Project

TriFit is seeking an experienced Head of Maintenance & Projects to oversee the comprehensive maintenance operations of our facilities across major cities in Pakistan. This role involves ensuring the reliability and upkeep of fitness equipment, MEP systems, and overall facility infrastructure. Additionally, the position requires managing new-site development and facility upgrade projects from planning through execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong multi-site maintenance management experience, demonstrate excellent leadership and coordination skills, and adopt a hands-on approach to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities across multiple locations to ensure operational efficiency.
- Oversee maintenance of fitness equipment, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, as well as minor civil works.
- Minimize equipment downtime by ensuring prompt resolution of maintenance issues.
- Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, allocate resources effectively, and plan maintenance schedules.
- Lead, supervise, and evaluate the performance of maintenance teams.
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, service providers, and equipment suppliers to ensure quality and timely service.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Oversee the planning and execution of new-site projects and facility upgrades, coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Review technical drawings, bills of quantities (BOQs), and project requirements to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Monitor project timelines, quality standards, resource utilization, and overall execution.
- Support the setup and operational readiness of new sites to ensure smooth launches.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and facility operations.
- Collaborate effectively with Operations, Branch Managers, Finance, Procurement, and other internal teams to align maintenance and project goals.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical Engineering may be considered for candidates with strong relevant experience.
- Certification in Project Management is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven track record of managing maintenance operations across multiple sites.
- At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in project management or project execution.
- Experience in industries such as fitness, retail, grocery, hospitality, or restaurants with multi-site operations is advantageous.
- Previous roles such as Area Maintenance Manager, Regional Maintenance Manager, or Maintenance Manager are preferred.
