Hiring: Production Engineer / Assistant Production Manager

NETPAC Technologies Corp. (Pvt.) Ltd., located in Sundar Industrial Estate, Lahore, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Engineer / Assistant Production Manager to join its cable manufacturing and plant operations team. This full-time, on-site role involves overseeing production activities at their optical fiber and communication cable manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in industrial production processes, particularly plastic extrusion, machinery maintenance, and automation systems. They will be responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations related to optical fiber and communication cable manufacturing.
- Monitor and control plastic extrusion parameters such as temperature zones, screw speeds, cooling systems, and tooling setups.
- Troubleshoot and maintain industrial automation equipment including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, servo drives, sensors, heaters, and potentiometers.
- Oversee raw material management, including HDPE, LSZH, PVC, and PBT.
- Ensure product quality through rigorous testing and adherence to industry standards.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, machine calibration, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Manage and lead machine operators and shop-floor technicians effectively.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift handovers, and documentation of manufacturing processes.
- Support production planning, material inventory control, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in production engineering, plant operations, or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong technical knowledge of extrusion machinery, temperature and pressure controls, and tooling.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot industrial automation systems, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, servo drives, heaters, potentiometers, and sensors.
- Understanding of polymer materials, raw material handling, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English communication; basic knowledge of Chinese language is considered an advantage.

NETPAC offers a competitive salary starting from Rs120,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
