Located in Askari 10, Lahore, this position offers an exciting opportunity for a Home Tutor to work closely with young learners and children. The role involves fostering an engaging and interactive learning environment that emphasizes creativity, curiosity, and overall skill development rather than traditional rote memorization. The ideal candidate will be patient, creative, and able to communicate effectively to help children build confidence and essential life skills. The schedule is typically Monday to Friday, with approximately four hours of daily sessions, for example, from 4 PM to 7 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Activity-Based Learning: Develop and implement age-appropriate, hands-on activities designed to keep children actively engaged while learning.
- Communication & Language Skills: Support children in enhancing their verbal abilities, expressive language, active listening, and confidence through methods such as storytelling, role-playing, and group discussions.
- Skill Development: Focus on nurturing critical soft skills including fine motor coordination, problem-solving, creativity, time management, and social etiquette.
- Homework & Academic Support: Provide basic academic assistance and help children establish structured study habits to support their educational progress.
- Progress Tracking: Regularly monitor each child’s personal and skill development, offering constructive feedback and updates to parents to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an early childhood educator, home tutor, or activity facilitator is essential.
- Strong command of spoken and written English and/or the local language to communicate effectively with children and parents.
- A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic personality that can build a strong rapport with young learners.
- Creative mindset with the ability to design and execute interactive tasks such as arts and crafts, puzzles, and active play.
- Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
