We are seeking an experienced HR & Administration Manager to lead the people agenda and ensure the smooth operation of our Karachi and Lahore offices. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leadership and a key point of contact for employees throughout their journey, from onboarding to career progression. Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy: Collaborate with Divisional Heads to translate business objectives into an annual HR plan aligned with regional and global policies. Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and people risk management. Lead the HR team and deliver regular reports on key HR metrics.

Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the entire hiring process, from workforce planning to extending offers. Develop talent pipelines and enhance the employer brand within Pakistan. Oversee onboarding programs, probation reviews, and employee confirmations.

Learning and Development: Conduct annual training needs assessments, develop the learning calendar, and manage the associated budget. Implement technical, compliance, and leadership training programs, monitoring their effectiveness.

Succession and Performance Management: Maintain succession plans for critical roles and support the development of high-potential employees. Administer the annual performance review cycle and assist managers in creating improvement plans.

Compensation and Benefits: Coordinate payroll activities with Finance, ensuring compliance with tax and statutory deductions. Manage salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits in line with market benchmarks.

Employee Relations: Address grievances, disciplinary issues, and investigations with fairness and transparency. Lead initiatives focused on employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition.

HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to Pakistani labor laws, including EOBI, SESSI/PESSI, and company policies. Maintain HR policies, employee records, and HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or equivalents.

Administration Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the work of dedicated administration teams across both offices. Set operational standards, approve significant expenditures, and resolve escalated issues.

Required Qualifications

A Master’s degree or MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have at least eight years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of three years in a managerial generalist role. Proven expertise in recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, succession planning, and employee relations is essential. Experience managing office administration teams and vendor relationships is required. Strong knowledge of Pakistani labor law, EOBI, social security, and payroll tax regulations is necessary. Excellent communication skills in both English and Urdu, written and spoken, are mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Professional certifications such as CIPD, SHRM-CP/SCP, or equivalents are advantageous. Experience working in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or other multinational matrix organizations in Pakistan is a plus. Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms is desirable.
