The HR Manager at AHZ Pakistan will lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the organization. This role demands a highly organized and commercially aware HR professional capable of establishing strong HR governance, maintaining employee discipline, enhancing performance and productivity, safeguarding company information, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies across all AHZ Pakistan offices. Acting as a vital link between employees, departmental managers, and senior management, the HR Manager will play a key role in driving a performance-focused and compliant workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment, Workforce Planning & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including workforce planning with managers, job description preparation, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, and employment offers. Maintain a recruitment pipeline aligned with manpower budgets and business needs. Oversee onboarding and induction programs, ensuring all employment documentation is completed promptly and probation periods are monitored.
Performance Management & KPI Monitoring: Implement a structured performance management system with clear responsibilities, KPIs, and measurable targets for all employees. Coordinate regular performance reviews, identify underperformance, and support managers in developing Performance Improvement Plans. Maintain documentation to support decisions on promotions, salary reviews, incentives, or disciplinary actions.
Employee Relations, Discipline & Grievance Management: Handle employee relations confidentially and fairly, maintaining workplace discipline and compliance with company policies. Manage complaints, grievances, investigations, disciplinary hearings, and documentation. Support management with employee terminations, resignations, and exit procedures.
Attendance, Leave & Workforce Administration: Monitor attendance, punctuality, absenteeism, and leave records. Manage various leave types and address attendance irregularities. Coordinate with managers to ensure adequate staffing and operational coverage.
Compensation, Payroll & Benefits Administration: Coordinate payroll data, maintain salary and benefits records, and ensure all changes have proper approvals. Assist with salary benchmarking and maintain confidentiality regarding employee financial information.
Learning, Training & Employee Development: Identify training needs, develop annual training plans, and coordinate various training programs including induction, compliance, leadership, and professional development. Support succession planning and encourage continuous learning.
HR Policies, Governance & Compliance: Develop and implement HR policies ensuring compliance with Pakistani labor laws. Conduct HR audits, maintain governance, and ensure employees understand company policies and confidentiality obligations.
HR Data, Reporting & Management Information: Maintain accurate employee databases and produce monthly HR reports covering headcount, recruitment, turnover, attendance, performance, training, disciplinary matters, and costs. Provide data-driven insights for strategic decisions.
Confidentiality, Data Protection & Company Security: Safeguard employee and company information, control access to confidential documents, and manage clearance procedures during employee exits to protect company assets.
Employee Engagement & Organisational Culture: Promote a professional and respectful work environment, support engagement and retention initiatives, recognize high performers, improve internal communication, and monitor employee morale.
Operational Management: Support office standards, coordinate with management on operational matters, monitor compliance with workplace policies, assist with administration and facilities management, and escalate risks or compliance issues to senior management. Facilitate organizational restructuring and new office openings as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related fields. Ideally, 5–8 years of progressive HR experience including management responsibility. Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, and organizational development. Familiarity with Pakistani employment laws and labor requirements. Professional HR qualifications such as SHRM or CIPD are advantageous.
