We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team and gain practical experience in human resources within a professional corporate setting. In this role, you will support the HR department with daily office operations, assist in screening resumes, coordinate interviews, and maintain employee records. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop foundational HR skills through hands-on involvement in various administrative and recruitment tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Screening & Sourcing: Review incoming job applications, actively search for potential candidates on job portals, and assist in shortlisting resumes for open positions.
Interview Coordination: Communicate with candidates via phone and messaging to schedule interviews, send reminders, and coordinate interview timings with hiring managers.
HR Record Keeping: Update and maintain employee files, attendance records, and HR-related spreadsheets using Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel.
Onboarding Support: Assist in preparing welcome communications, collecting necessary documents from new hires, and facilitating their smooth integration into the workplace.
Internal Communication: Respond to basic HR inquiries from staff, disseminate office updates, and support the organization of team activities.
General Administrative Tasks: Help maintain office organization, manage printing and documentation, and perform other administrative duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Required Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication abilities, with a friendly and clear approach when interacting with candidates and colleagues.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and email platforms.
Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, capable of managing time effectively, a team player with a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn.
Shift Commitment: Willingness and ability to work a fixed night shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday, on-site.
