HR Executive (Part-Time)

Motion Graphix, a growing creative studio specializing in SaaS explainer and product demo videos, is seeking a part-time HR Executive to establish and lead its HR function. Located in Johar Town, Lahore, this role offers a hybrid work model with approximately 20 hours per week. As the company expands its team of animators, designers, editors, and project managers, the HR Executive will play a pivotal role in building HR processes from the ground up, working closely with the founder to shape how the company hires, supports, and develops its people.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop foundational HR documents including employment contracts, an employee handbook, and policies covering leave, attendance, working hours, probation, and notice periods.
- Manage HR operations for the current team, such as attendance and leave tracking, maintaining employee records, and coordinating payroll with the accounts department.
- Lead the full recruitment cycle for new positions: drafting job descriptions, screening resumes, organizing creative assessments, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
- Design and implement a structured onboarding process to ensure new hires are productive from their first week.
- Establish simple performance review systems and assist in defining career growth paths for creative and production roles.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, addressing concerns proactively and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including EOBI and social security registrations.

Required Qualifications

- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in HR, preferably as a generalist or HR executive.
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (BBA or MBA in HR preferred).
- Practical knowledge of Pakistani labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Ability to create and implement HR processes independently rather than maintaining existing systems.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Urdu, with the discretion to handle sensitive issues professionally.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, capable of managing priorities effectively within a part-time schedule.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working in a creative agency, software house, or startup environment.
- Familiarity with HR management tools or Google Workspace for record-keeping and tracking.
- Experience recruiting for creative roles such as animators, designers, or video editors.

This position offers flexible working hours with the possibility of a hybrid schedule after an initial period onsite in Lahore. Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the screening process based on experience.
