Located in Karachi, Pakistan, this full-time onsite position reports directly to the COO and operates Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 1 AM. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HR Generalist to oversee daily HR functions and support the entire employee lifecycle. This role involves managing HR administration, maintaining employee records, handling attendance and leave management, coordinating payroll, administering medical insurance, facilitating performance management, driving employee engagement, conducting compensation reviews, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Maintain accurate employee records and efficiently use HRIS/HR software to support HR operations.
- Oversee attendance tracking, leave management, overtime, and payroll data inputs.
- Administer the complete payroll cycle ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Handle medical insurance processes such as enrollments, claims coordination, and addressing employee inquiries.
- Manage performance appraisal cycles through HR software, including goal setting, evaluations, and maintaining performance records.
- Coordinate annual increments, bonuses, and performance-based salary reviews in collaboration with management.
- Support recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, employee relations, and disciplinary actions as required.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, promoting consistent implementation across the organization.
- Prepare detailed HR reports covering headcount, attendance, turnover, performance, compensation, and benefits metrics.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Between 2 to 5 years of practical experience in HR Generalist or HR Operations roles.
- Proficient in using HRIS/HRMS platforms and performance management systems.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, employee benefits, medical insurance administration, and compensation management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with strong organizational abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and a keen eye for detail in all HR activities.
