This role involves managing and coordinating daily human resources activities alongside providing basic IT support to ensure smooth office operations. The successful candidate will handle employee records, recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and related administrative tasks while supporting project staff and management in maintaining efficient and well-organized workflows. Additionally, the position requires overseeing office systems, equipment, and digital tools to facilitate seamless communication and technology use within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, attendance tracking, leave management, contract administration, and maintaining employee records. Ensure personnel files, HR trackers, and staff databases are accurate and up to date. Support payroll processing, benefits administration, insurance coordination, and other employee-related HR processes. Facilitate staff communication and ensure compliance with organizational policies through proper HR documentation.
Provide basic IT support to project staff, including troubleshooting issues related to computers, printers, internet connectivity, email, and other office systems. Maintain detailed records of IT equipment, software licenses, and technology assets. Collaborate with the Head Office IT and HR teams to address technical and HR-related matters effectively. Ensure the security, proper use, and regular maintenance of office IT equipment and systems. Assist staff in utilizing digital tools and organizational platforms efficiently.
Prepare and submit HR and IT reports as required by management while maintaining strict confidentiality of employee and organizational information. Perform any additional HR or IT-related duties as assigned by management. Uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment, adhering to the organization’s Child Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is essential. Candidates should have 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in HR and/or IT administration. Proficiency in MS Office applications, HR documentation, and basic IT troubleshooting is required. Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role. The candidate must be willing to work in a remote and potentially challenging environment.
