Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support its Pakistan Retail Organization based in Lahore. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with Retail Leadership and Store Management to drive key people initiatives that align with business priorities. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive HR support including talent management, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, and HR operations. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Retail Leadership and functional managers to understand business needs and deliver effective HR solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational effectiveness, talent deployment, performance, employee relations, and workforce planning.
- Collaborate on manpower planning, organizational structure, succession planning, and productivity improvements.
- Support the implementation of the broader People Strategy and ensure HR priorities are executed across the Retail function.
- Lead employee engagement, wellness, listening, and culture initiatives in partnership with Retail Leadership.
- Identify and promote opportunities to strengthen diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee experience aligned with global and country strategies.
- Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of issues.
- Proactively identify people-risk areas and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Manage disciplinary processes, grievances, investigations, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Partner with Retail Leadership on talent identification, succession planning, internal mobility, and development initiatives.
- Drive the annual performance management cycle including goal setting, reviews, calibration, and development planning.
- Collaborate with Talent & Development on learning and capability-building programs tailored to Retail needs.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce deployment to ensure a consistent employee experience.
- Work with the Rewards team on compensation, benefits, and recognition programs impacting Retail employees.
- Monitor workforce metrics and provide data-driven insights and dashboards using AI models.
- Prepare annual budgets and five-year forecasts related to people costs aligned with business plans.
- Maintain integrity of employee data across HR systems such as Workday and AskHR.
- Develop and implement HR policies and processes in compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
- Ensure consistent execution of HR processes across Retail locations in line with country guidelines and governance.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Retail Leadership, Country Leadership, Finance, Talent & Development, and external partners such as recruitment agencies and legal counsel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in management sciences or a related field.
- 5 to 6 years of HR experience with a strong focus on HR Business Partnering, preferably within Retail, Consumer Goods, FMCG, or customer-facing industries.
- Proven experience working with business leaders and frontline teams across multiple locations.
- Proficiency with HRIS/ATS systems such as Workday or SAP.
- Solid knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements in Pakistan.
