LOGIX Project Management (Pvt.) Ltd. is looking for a highly experienced and qualified HSE Engineer to support Health, Safety, and Environment operations within industrial and construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with relevant HSE standards, implementing effective site safety procedures, and fostering a strong safety culture throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires a proactive professional who can manage safety risks, conduct thorough inspections, and collaborate closely with project teams to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and continuously monitor HSE policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to applicable HSE regulations, client specifications, and project safety standards.
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures to mitigate risks effectively.
- Oversee the implementation of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and toolbox talks to maintain safety awareness on site.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, providing detailed reports and recommending preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Promote safe working practices among contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to cultivate a safety-first mindset.
- Maintain comprehensive HSE documentation, including inspection reports, incident records, and compliance registers.
- Coordinate closely with the Syngenta Site HSE Team regarding safety performance, observations, and corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure that HSE coverage and deployment are in line with the project schedule and risk level, adapting resources as necessary.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in HSE roles within industrial and/or construction projects.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is a mandatory qualification.
- IOSH Managing Safely certification is also required.
- Proven expertise in site HSE management, hazard identification, risk assessment, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Strong knowledge of industrial and construction site safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills to effectively engage with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively with client representatives and project stakeholders to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs19,000 to Rs250,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This role requires the candidate to work on-site to ensure hands-on management of HSE activities.
