Accrescent Engineers (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a qualified HSE Officer on a contract basis for an upcoming project located in Multan. The role involves ensuring the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at the project site. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and possess a diploma or degree in engineering or a related HSE qualification. This position requires hands-on involvement in maintaining a safe working environment throughout the project duration.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices on-site.
- Conduct daily site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings to promote awareness and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, work permits, electrical safety, work-at-height protocols, lifting operations, and housekeeping standards.
- Identify potential hazards, perform risk assessments, and recommend corrective or preventive measures.
- Monitor contractors and site personnel to ensure compliance with established safety standards.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, maintaining accurate HSE records.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly HSE reports, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and client HSE teams on all safety-related matters.
- Oversee emergency procedures, fire safety arrangements, and first-aid facilities to ensure readiness.
- Have the authority to stop unsafe work immediately and report critical safety violations without delay.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE), Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering, or a relevant HSE qualification.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in construction or project-site environments.
- Strong knowledge of HSE practices, including Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis/Job Hazard Analysis (JSA/JHA), risk assessments, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively on-site.
- Capability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic project setting.
- Willingness to be based in Multan for the entire project duration.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
