We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to lead the design and engineering activities for HVAC systems within industrial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing detailed cooling and heating load calculations, designing ventilation, pressurization, and air-conditioning systems, and preparing equipment specifications and datasheets. This role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems with architectural, electrical, and instrumentation requirements. The successful candidate will also support installation, testing, and commissioning phases to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC design and engineering activities from concept through execution.
- Perform accurate cooling and heating load calculations to determine system requirements.
- Design ventilation, pressurization, and air-conditioning systems tailored to project needs.
- Prepare detailed equipment specifications and datasheets for procurement and installation.
- Develop duct layouts and HVAC system drawings ensuring compliance with project standards.
- Review HVAC requirements specifically for control rooms and substations to maintain operational integrity.
- Coordinate hazardous-area and building pressurization requirements to meet safety standards.
- Review vendor documents and technical offers to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Collaborate with Architectural, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams to coordinate HVAC interfaces effectively.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases to ensure quality and functionality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of relevant HVAC engineering experience, preferably in industrial settings.
- Proven experience working on Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power, or EPCC projects.
- Strong expertise in industrial HVAC system design and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, and other applicable project codes.
Compensation and Work Location
The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs 250,000 to Rs 350,000. This role requires the candidate to work on-site to effectively manage project requirements and coordination.
