ILF Consulting Engineers Pakistan, a branch of the global ILF Group established in 2005 and based in Lahore, is seeking an experienced I&C CADD Designer / E&I Designer to join its Karachi Division. The company specializes in multidisciplinary engineering consulting, focusing on sectors such as Energy and Climate Protection, Water and Environment, Transportation and Urban Spaces, and Sustainable Industry. The successful candidate will contribute to instrumentation and electrical design efforts for industrial, energy, and infrastructure projects, supporting the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions aligned with sustainability and community impact goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update CAD drawings, layouts, and schematics for instrumentation and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate design concepts into detailed, technically accurate drawings that adhere to relevant codes and regulations.
- Prepare and maintain documentation including cable schedules, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and instrument index lists.
- Review design changes and resolve any drawing-related issues to maintain consistency and quality.
- Maintain and organize drawing databases, implement design revisions, and support quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work full-time on-site in Karachi, actively engaging with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of instrumentation principles and concepts applicable to industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in electrical design, including wiring for low- and medium-voltage systems and control circuits.
- Hands-on experience with CAD software for creating and modifying instrumentation and electrical layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings.
- Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Ability to interpret engineering documents such as P&IDs, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment datasheets.
- Familiarity with international and local standards and codes relevant to instrumentation and electrical design.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple drawing tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the capability to collaborate efficiently within multidisciplinary project teams on-site.
