IELTS Instructor (DHA)

We are seeking a dedicated IELTS Instructor to deliver comprehensive preparation classes covering all four components of the IELTS exam: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The ideal candidate will design structured lesson plans, develop teaching materials, and conduct practice exercises and mock tests to help students improve their English proficiency and achieve their target band scores. This role requires a professional approach to assessing student performance, providing detailed feedback, and fostering an engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct IELTS preparation classes focusing on Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills.
- Develop structured lesson plans, teaching resources, practice exercises, and mock examinations tailored to student needs.
- Assess students’ English proficiency levels and identify specific areas requiring improvement.
- Provide detailed and constructive feedback on IELTS Writing Task 1 and Task 2 assignments.
- Facilitate speaking practice sessions and evaluate student performance using official IELTS assessment criteria.
- Teach effective test-taking strategies, time management techniques, and examination skills to enhance student performance.
- Monitor student progress consistently and offer individualized support to help students reach their desired band scores.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment results, and student progress reports.
- Conduct regular mock exams and analyze performance to guide further instruction.
- Stay updated on the latest IELTS test formats, assessment standards, and teaching methodologies.
- Maintain a professional, supportive, and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages learning.
- Collaborate with the academic team to continuously improve teaching quality and student outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- IELTS overall band score of 7.5 or above, with strong Writing and Speaking skills.
- Previous experience teaching IELTS or English language courses is advantageous.
- Thorough understanding of both IELTS Academic and General Training modules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong classroom management, presentation, and student engagement abilities.
- Ability to accurately evaluate IELTS Writing and Speaking tasks using official assessment criteria.
- Proficiency in preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and student assessments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Candidates with prior experience in IELTS instruction or related English language teaching will be highly regarded. The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs 80,000 to Rs 90,000.
