IELTS Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated IELTS Instructor to deliver comprehensive preparation classes covering all four modules: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The ideal candidate will design structured lesson plans, develop teaching materials, and conduct practice exercises and mock tests to enhance student performance. This role involves assessing students’ English proficiency, providing detailed feedback, and supporting them in achieving their target band scores through personalized guidance. The instructor will also maintain accurate records, monitor progress, and collaborate with the academic team to continually improve teaching quality and student outcomes. This position requires a professional and engaging approach to foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct IELTS preparation classes focusing on Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills.
- Develop structured lesson plans, teaching materials, practice exercises, and mock tests tailored to student needs.
- Assess students’ English proficiency and identify specific areas for improvement.
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback on IELTS Writing Task 1 and Task 2 submissions.
- Lead speaking practice sessions and evaluate students using official IELTS assessment criteria.
- Teach effective test-taking strategies, time management techniques, and examination skills to boost student confidence and performance.
- Monitor student progress regularly and offer individualized support to help them reach their desired band scores.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, assessment results, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular mock examinations and analyze performance to guide further instruction.
- Stay updated with the latest IELTS test formats, assessment criteria, and teaching methodologies.
- Foster a professional, supportive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the academic team to enhance teaching methods and improve overall student outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- IELTS overall band score of 7.5 or above, with strong Writing and Speaking skills.
- Thorough understanding of both IELTS Academic and General Training modules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong classroom management, presentation, and student engagement abilities.
- Ability to accurately evaluate IELTS Writing and Speaking tasks using official assessment criteria.
- Proficiency in preparing lesson plans, teaching resources, and student assessments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Previous experience teaching IELTS or English language courses is advantageous.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs90,000.
- Work location is in person, providing direct interaction with students and the academic team.
