This role involves managing international order execution with a focus on optimizing cross-border shipping logistics while ensuring full compliance with Pakistan Customs and Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) regulations. The position is based within manufacturing plants, industrial units, or commercial offices located inside the Karachi Export Processing Zone. The successful candidate will oversee the entire export process, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements to facilitate smooth and timely shipments.

Key Responsibilities

Import and Export Operations: Coordinate the complete export cycle starting from order confirmation and production planning through to final dispatch at the port. Monitor global shipments closely and proactively resolve any transit or port delays to ensure on-time delivery.

Documentation & Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and verify all critical export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and Bills of Lading (B/L). Ensure compliance with Pakistan Customs regulations, State Bank of Pakistan export policies, and specific Karachi Export Processing Zone (KEPZ) duty-free and regulatory guidelines. Manage Letter of Credit (LC) negotiations and handle banking documentation in coordination with authorized dealer banks.

Logistics & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise effectively with freight forwarders, shipping lines, container terminals, and clearing agents to secure cargo space and oversee container loading operations. Collaborate internally with production, quality assurance (QA), and finance teams to ensure that product output aligns with global buyer specifications and contractual requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in import and export operations, shipping, or international business development. Experience within Karachi Export Processing Zone (KEPZ) or industrial manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.

Technical Knowledge: Expertise in export documentation, Incoterms 2020, and customs clearance procedures is essential. Ability to manage high-pressure deadlines and coordinate with clients across multiple time zones is required.

Work Location: This is an in-person role based within the Karachi Export Processing Zone.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where international trade and regulatory compliance intersect. Candidates with a strong background in cross-border logistics and a proven track record of managing complex export operations will find this role both challenging and rewarding.
