The In-House Legal Officer position is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore. This role is responsible for providing legal support across the company’s education and immigration services. The officer will review and draft contracts, service agreements, and compliance documents, ensuring all legal matters align with current regulations. Monitoring changes in immigration, education, and commercial laws across multiple jurisdictions is a key aspect of the role, helping to maintain up-to-date policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, service agreements, and compliance documentation related to education and immigration services.
- Monitor and interpret changes in relevant immigration, education, and commercial laws to ensure company policies remain compliant.
- Advise internal teams on legal risks and implications associated with business operations and client services.
- Conduct due diligence on potential partnerships and collaborations to mitigate legal risks.
- Maintain accurate legal records and documentation for all contracts and agreements.
- Support dispute resolution processes involving clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with operations, admissions, and management teams to ensure regulatory and ethical standards are upheld throughout client pathways and internal procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance relevant to education and immigration sectors.
- Proven experience in legal research, drafting, and reviewing agreements, policies, and formal communications.
- Ability to assess legal risks clearly and provide actionable recommendations.
- Skilled in dispute resolution and negotiation support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in legal and document management software, along with MS Office or similar productivity tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- A Master’s degree (LLM) or specialization in international or immigration law is an advantage.
- Prior experience working in-house or at a law firm, ideally within education, immigration, or service-oriented sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while maintaining high ethical standards.
