Incharge Proposals

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Incharge Proposals to lead the development of technically robust, competitive, and commercially viable proposals. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams such as engineering, procurement, and project management, as well as external stakeholders. The successful candidate will ensure that all proposals comply with client specifications, address risk factors, and are submitted within designated deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop bid preparation strategies and plan resources to deliver high-quality and competitive submissions.
- Coordinate across departments including Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and business unit leaders to collect necessary inputs and cost estimates.
- Identify risks associated with bids and implement contractual safeguards to minimize long-term organizational liabilities.
- Prepare and finalize comprehensive proposal documentation in accordance with Invitation to Bid (ITB) guidelines and company standards.
- Ensure timely handover of completed bids to the Business Development team.
- Support the Head of Department with budgeting for proposals, tracking variances, and achieving overall departmental objectives.
- Engage with vendors, subcontractors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities as needed throughout the proposal process.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including:
- 3 to 5 years in the Oil & Gas or EPC sector.
- 2 to 3 years in Project Management or Project Organizations.
- At least 2 years in Contracts and Commercial Bid Administration.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.

Core Competencies

- Practical experience in proposal budgeting, cost estimation, and resource planning.
- Strong knowledge of contracts, commercial terms, and risk management principles.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver executive-level presentations.
