EHSAR Foundation is seeking a qualified Individual Consultant to support the solarization of Basic Health Units (BHUs) under the ECHO-HIP 2026 Project. The consultant will play a critical role in providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the successful implementation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at selected BHUs located in Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, and Kohat. This consultancy offers an opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy solutions in healthcare facilities within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate the suitability and requirements for solar PV installations at designated BHUs.
- Review and verify solar system sizing and design to ensure compliance with technical standards and project objectives.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed technical specifications for solar PV components and related infrastructure.
- Develop tender and procurement documentation to facilitate transparent and efficient supplier selection.
- Supervise the installation process, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
- Oversee quality assurance activities, including testing and commissioning of solar PV systems.
- Manage the handover process, ensuring all systems are fully operational and meet project standards.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven experience working with solar PV systems, including design, installation, and commissioning.
- Demonstrated ability to execute similar assignments, preferably within the renewable energy or healthcare infrastructure sectors.
Duty Locations:
The consultant will be based in multiple locations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, specifically Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, and Kohat.
