We are looking for a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will be passionate about optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve production processes, workflows, and overall productivity to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct time and motion studies, establish standard times, and refine work methods to enhance efficiency.
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize manpower allocation, machine utilization, and production capacity.
- Support production planning activities, line balancing, and improvements in factory layout.
- Monitor key production performance indicators such as efficiency, cycle times, downtime, waste, and capacity utilization.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process standards to maintain quality and consistency.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, waste minimization, and productivity enhancement.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of improvement projects.
- Analyze production data and recommend practical solutions for process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with time study, line balancing, capacity planning, and process improvement techniques.
- Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies, 5S, and Kaizen principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience with ERP/MRP systems is considered an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
