The Pakistan Navy is inviting applications for the Short Service Commission 2027-A in the Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence) branch. This opportunity is open to male candidates between the ages of 20 and 27 who hold a Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, with a minimum CGPA of 2.5. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence are also eligible. The recruitment process includes online registration through the official Pakistan Navy portal. Selected candidates will undergo training and serve as officers in the Information Technology (AI) division, contributing to various advanced technological and defense-related projects within the Navy.

Key Responsibilities
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to apply their expertise in Artificial Intelligence to support the Pakistan Navy’s IT infrastructure and operations. Responsibilities include software development, data center management, cybersecurity measures, and network design and management. Officers will work on developing and maintaining AI-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security. They will also be involved in strategic planning and implementation of IT projects critical to national defense.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must be male citizens of Pakistan, aged up to 27 years as of July 1, 2027. The minimum height requirement is 5 feet 4 inches. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence or a Master’s degree in the same field, with a minimum CGPA of 2.5. It is essential that the IT-related degrees are accredited by the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC) or the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), as applicable. Any discrepancies between the original CNIC and the registration slip will disqualify the candidate from taking the entrance test.
