Information Technology Officer

Quwat Services (Private) Limited (QSPL) is seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Officer to join our team in Islamabad. The IT Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth daily operations and timely resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and IT equipment.
- Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for hardware, software, internet, email, and connectivity issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Maintain IT equipment, inventory, and user access records.
- Support network security measures, backups, and system updates.
- Set up computers, printers, email accounts, and other IT resources for new employees.
- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and external IT vendors as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and technical issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT and networking-related complaints.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of company IT policies and procedures.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related surveillance equipment.
- Assist with biometric attendance systems and the setup and configuration of IP phone/VoIP systems.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT support, networking, or a related area.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of CCTV installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide timely technical support.
