Information Technology Officer

Tech Wagera is seeking a dedicated IT Officer to join its team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in IT support and infrastructure management. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive technical assistance and ensuring smooth operation of the company’s IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops and laptops.
- Support and maintain the main server site to ensure continuous availability and performance.
- Manage Microsoft 365 / Office 365 environments, including user support and administration.
- Configure and troubleshoot Fortinet Firewall to maintain network security and integrity.
- Oversee LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, and other network components to ensure reliable connectivity.
- Administer Windows Server and Active Directory services to support organizational IT infrastructure.
- Maintain IT asset management records and documentation for all hardware and software.
- Resolve user complaints promptly and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT support and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration.
- Experience with Fortinet Firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and network switches.
- Skilled in hardware and software troubleshooting for desktops and laptops.
- Ability to manage IT assets and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide effective user support.
