Information Technology Officer

MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a reputable contracting firm specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works and affiliated with Izhar Construction Company Pvt. Ltd., is looking to hire a full-time IT Officer. This permanent, on-site position is based at the Head Office in Lahore. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the company’s IT infrastructure and ensuring smooth network operations to support business activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and Layer 2 and Layer 3 network systems to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
- Configure and maintain network devices including switches, VLANs, routing protocols, DHCP, IP addressing, and LAN/WAN connectivity.
- Oversee the installation, management, and maintenance of CCTV, IP cameras, NVRs, and other surveillance systems.
- Handle IT procurement processes, including vendor coordination, obtaining quotations, and preparing comparison statements to support purchasing decisions.
- Maintain IT infrastructure documentation such as asset records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical manuals, and manage data recoveries and backups to safeguard company information.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT network management and support.
- Strong practical knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking concepts.
- Hands-on experience with switching, routing, VLANs, DHCP, and IP networking protocols.
- Experience working with CCTV and IP surveillance systems.
- Familiarity with IT procurement and vendor management processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities combined with strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Candidates with around 4 years of experience will be preferred.
