We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to manage a diverse range of projects from initial design through to implementation. The ideal candidate will possess strong managerial capabilities combined with a technical understanding of software development processes. This role requires close collaboration with clients and technical teams to define project requirements and develop detailed action plans, ensuring timely and successful delivery. The position is based in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives, ensuring their needs are consistently met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, proactively addressing any issues that arise to keep projects on track.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, communicating project status updates to all stakeholders.
- Coordinate with technical teams to break down projects into manageable tasks and establish realistic timeframes.
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist in managing project schedules effectively.
- Collaborate with Technical Project Managers to resolve blockers and maintain workflow continuity.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans and progress reports.
- Conduct quality assurance tests to ensure all standards and requirements are met.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in agile project development methodologies and practices.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to perfectionism by ensuring tasks are completed accurately and thoroughly.
- Motivate and manage teams efficiently, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Utilize remote management tools such as Skype, Zoom, and Google Docs to coordinate teams and meetings.
- Continuously monitor project milestones and deliverables, preparing detailed progress reports based on measurable outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role, preferably within software development environments.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills to effectively manage client and team interactions.
- Solid technical knowledge of full-stack application development, including backend, frontend, and database components. Familiarity with blockchain technology is a strong advantage.
- Proven expertise in agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, including story refinement, estimation, velocity tracking, and retrospectives.
- Comprehensive understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) models.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools and software.
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance processes.
- Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to manage relationships under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive problem solver.
Educational Qualifications
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
