Information Technology Specialist

GRP Engineers & Consultants, based in DHA Phase 2, Lahore, is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist / IT Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT support, including managing computer systems, networking equipment, printers, and CCTV camera systems. This role involves ensuring smooth daily IT operations by providing timely technical assistance and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for computers, laptops, and office IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and related software.
- Manage and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and overall network connectivity.
- Install, configure, and resolve issues related to printers, scanners, and printing systems.
- Install, configure, monitor, and maintain CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, email, and network-related problems.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT equipment and technical documentation.
- Perform routine system maintenance, including data backups and basic network security measures.
- Provide day-to-day technical support to office staff to ensure uninterrupted IT operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience working with printers, scanners, and CCTV camera systems.
- Understanding of routers, switches, LAN, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA are considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in IT support or networking roles is preferred.
