CommerceKind is seeking a proactive and experienced IT Support / IT Administrator to oversee and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and technical operations. This role requires hands-on expertise in IT support, network administration, hardware and software management, Google Workspace administration, and office IT operations. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing daily IT needs while ensuring system reliability, security, and operational efficiency. The position is based in Paragon City, Lahore, with flexible working hours and two shifts available, including 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Google Workspace, including user accounts, permissions, organizational units, and access controls.
- Handle software licensing, subscriptions, installations, updates, and user access management.
- Maintain and track IT assets such as laptops, desktops, peripherals, and assigned equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues promptly.
- Administer and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, internet connectivity, switches, routers, and overall office network infrastructure.
- Provide timely technical support and resolve employee IT-related queries efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance to optimize system performance and reduce downtime.
- Manage CCTV and DVR systems, including configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and access control.
- Oversee biometric attendance systems and related software administration.
- Conduct basic server administration tasks such as monitoring, troubleshooting, backups, and maintenance.
- Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including inventory records, system configurations, access logs, and asset tracking.
- Ensure compliance with IT security best practices and data protection standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in IT Support or IT Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and office IT infrastructure.
- Proven experience with Google Workspace administration.
- Practical experience managing LAN/WAN networking, CCTV systems, DVRs, and biometric devices.
- Familiarity with server administration and backup procedures.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day IT operations with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience maintaining IT inventories, access records, and documentation.
- Relevant IT certifications are considered an advantage.
