Key Responsibilities
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound sales calls, addressing customer inquiries, and providing accurate information regarding the company’s shipping and logistics services. This role involves generating new leads, qualifying prospects, and maintaining comprehensive records within the CRM system. The representative will work closely with operations and account management teams to ensure customer requests are handled efficiently and followed up on promptly. Daily tasks include preparing quotations, tracking sales opportunities, and contributing to the achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction objectives.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate strong inside sales capabilities, including experience in handling inbound and outbound calls and successfully closing sales opportunities. The ability to maintain high customer satisfaction through excellent customer service and problem-solving skills is essential. Experience in lead generation activities such as prospecting, cold calling, and nurturing sales pipelines is required. Proficiency in account management, including maintaining customer records and relationship building, is important. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with effective negotiation abilities, are necessary. Familiarity with CRM software and basic office productivity tools is expected. Prior experience in the shipping, logistics, or related industries will be considered an advantage. A relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field is preferred.
