Instructor - Electrical

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering both classroom and practical shop instruction, demonstrating electrical practices in accordance with approved engineering standards and electrical codes. This role requires a hands-on approach to teaching, ensuring students gain a thorough understanding of electrical concepts and applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Utilize classroom and workshop environments to teach electrical principles and practices effectively.
- Demonstrate electrical techniques and procedures aligned with industry standards and electrical codes.
- Develop and implement curriculum frameworks that meet educational objectives and industry requirements.
- Prepare instructional materials and lesson plans to facilitate student learning.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Maintain a safe and organized learning environment in both classroom and shop settings.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in electrical engineering and incorporate relevant information into teaching.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical Apprenticeship.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical instruction or a related field.

Required Skills
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Strong ability to design and develop curriculum frameworks tailored to electrical education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to engage and motivate students.
- Strong research skills to continuously improve course content and teaching methods.
