This position involves guiding nursing students through practical and clinical learning experiences by demonstrating nursing procedures and clinical skills. The role requires active participation in skills-lab demonstrations, simulations, and competency assessments to ensure students gain hands-on experience. The candidate will supervise students during their clinical rotations at affiliated hospitals and healthcare facilities, assess their clinical competencies, and provide constructive feedback to support their professional growth. Additionally, maintaining accurate records of students’ clinical attendance, rotation schedules, and performance is essential. The role may also include other duties as assigned by the competent authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate appropriate nursing procedures and clinical skills to nursing students.
- Assist in conducting skills-lab demonstrations, simulations, and competency assessments.
- Supervise nursing students during clinical rotations in affiliated hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Assess students’ clinical competencies and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning.
- Maintain detailed records of students’ clinical attendance, rotation schedules, and performance evaluations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the competent authority.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in General Nursing and Diploma in Midwifery, or
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or
- Post RN (Registered Nurse) qualification, or
- Bachelor of Science in Midwifery (BSM).
- A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in the relevant nursing field.
Additional Requirements and Terms
Applicants must submit scanned copies of all academic and professional documents. The highest education certificate or degree must be attested or verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Candidates may be deemed ineligible if they have a third division in their academic record or a weak academic profile. Employees of the institution with less than one year of service or without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their head of institution will not be considered. Candidates currently pursuing the required degree or those medically unfit will also be disqualified. Government employees and armed forces personnel should apply through their respective parent departments or organizations.
