Interior Architect

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Interior Architect with 4 to 6 years of professional experience, specializing in contemporary modern design. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to manage projects from initial concept through to final site execution across residential, commercial, and restaurant sectors. This role requires a creative mindset combined with practical skills to translate design visions into functional and visually compelling spaces. The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing site progress, ensuring quality standards, and making thoughtful material selections that align with project goals and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Conceptualization: Develop innovative interior design concepts focused on contemporary modern aesthetics for high-end residential, commercial offices, and restaurant environments.

Sketching & Drafting: Create quick, clear hand sketches to effectively communicate initial ideas to clients and stakeholders. Follow these with detailed technical and working drawings to guide project execution.

Material Selection & Sourcing: Identify and specify appropriate materials, finishes, lighting, and fixtures that complement the design vision while adhering to budget constraints.

Site Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction and finishing work, ensuring strict compliance with design intent, quality standards, and project timelines.

Project Coordination: Work closely with structural engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve on-site issues and facilitate smooth project delivery.

Required Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 4 to 6 years of dedicated experience as an Interior Architect or Interior Designer, with a strong emphasis on contemporary modern design.

Sector Expertise: Proven track record working on residential, commercial, and restaurant/hospitality projects.

Design Style: Deep understanding and natural flair for contemporary modern design principles, including clean lines and modern spatial arrangements.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard design and BIM/CAD software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, and 3ds Max. Strong rendering and visualization skills using tools like Lumion and V-Ray, along with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite for presentations. Excellent freehand sketching abilities for rapid concept development are essential. Additionally, a solid knowledge of interior detailing, custom joinery, and building materials is required.

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants must submit a comprehensive design portfolio that includes real-time, actual photographs of completed and built projects. Portfolios consisting solely of 3D renders without photographs of finished work will not be considered.
