Key Responsibilities
The Junior Interior Designer will assist the design team in developing interior concepts and space planning for both residential and commercial projects. This full-time, on-site role based in Lahore involves preparing and updating construction drawings, coordinating furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selections, and supporting material and finishes specifications under the supervision of senior designers and architects. The role requires participation in client meetings to take detailed notes and help translate client requirements into practical design solutions. Additionally, the Junior Interior Designer will visit project sites to monitor design implementation, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and maintain project documentation and schedules to ensure smooth progress.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have the ability to work effectively with space planning and interior design principles to create layouts that are both functional and visually appealing. A foundational understanding of architecture and construction drawings is essential to support accurate preparation of plans, sections, and details for on-site execution. Knowledge of FF&E selection, specification, and coordination with overall design concepts is also required. Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools is necessary, along with basic skills in presentation software like Adobe Suite and MS Office. Strong visual, conceptual, and technical design skills are important, as is attention to detail and the ability to follow established standards and guidelines. Effective communication and collaboration skills are critical for working in a team-based, on-site environment and interacting professionally with clients and contractors. Candidates should hold a relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field. Internship or junior-level experience in design or construction will be considered an advantage. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines and supporting project budgets.
