Interior Designer

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team based at the Islamabad head office, with regular site visits to the Khanaspur project location. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of professional experience and hold a BS or MS degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a reputable university. This role involves managing architectural and interior design aspects, landscaping, and coordinating all design elements and consultants, including structural, architectural, MEP, and infrastructure works, along with the preparation and management of relevant documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review architectural layouts, elevation designs, interior designs, external development plans, and landscaping concepts.
- Develop and evaluate concept and schematic designs, including the creation of 3D models and renders.
- Conduct space planning specifically for luxury hotel and resort projects, ensuring optimal flow and functionality.
- Produce technical drafting and documentation, including detailed drawings.
- Specify detailed interior design elements, finishes, and overall thematic direction for hotel projects.
- Oversee the selection and testing of finishing materials, ensuring quality and suitability.
- Coordinate all design elements across structural, architectural, MEP, and infrastructure disciplines.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, including IFC, shop drawings, and as-built revisions.
- Facilitate coordination between various design consultants to ensure project alignment.
- Provide site supervision and resolve on-site queries through Requests for Information (RFIs), shop drawings, and other documentation.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a recognized institution.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in interior and architectural design, preferably in luxury hotel or resort projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, particularly finishing materials.
- Proven ability in space planning for hospitality environments and understanding of interior themes.
- Familiarity with external development and landscaping principles.
- Competence in coordinating structural, architectural, and MEP designs.

Software Proficiency:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Lumion, 3Ds Max, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of Revit and Procore is considered an advantage.
