Interior Designer

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team based at the Islamabad head office, with regular site visits to the Khanaspur project location. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 8 years of professional experience and hold a BS or MS degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a reputable university. This role involves managing architectural design aspects, including interior design, landscaping, and coordinating all design elements and consultants such as structural, architectural, MEP, and infrastructure works. The candidate will also be responsible for overseeing relevant documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review architectural layouts, elevation designs, interior designs, external development, and landscaping plans.
- Develop and evaluate concept and schematic designs, including creating 3D models and renders.
- Conduct space planning specifically for luxury hotel and resort projects, ensuring optimal flow and functionality.
- Produce technical drafting and documentation, including detailed drawings.
- Specify detailed interior design elements, finishes, and thematic concepts for hotel projects.
- Coordinate the selection and testing of finishing materials to ensure quality and suitability.
- Manage coordination among all design elements, including structural, architectural, MEP, and infrastructure works.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, including IFC, shop drawings, and as-built revisions.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between various design consultants.
- Supervise site activities and resolve on-site queries through Requests for Information (RFIs), shop drawings, and other documentation.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a recognized university.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in architectural and interior design, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, particularly finishing materials.
- Experience in space planning for hotels and resorts, with an understanding of interior themes and external development.
- Ability to coordinate and integrate structural, architectural, and MEP designs effectively.

Preferred Skills and Software Proficiency:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Lumion, 3Ds Max, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with 3D rendering and drafting software is essential.
- Knowledge of Revit and Procore software is considered an advantage.
