The Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing interior concepts that align with project goals and company standards. This includes preparing layouts, selecting finishes and furnishings, and ensuring that designs are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The role involves close coordination with architects, construction teams, and vendors to maintain design intent throughout project execution. Daily tasks include space planning, preparing and reviewing drawings, sourcing FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and presenting design proposals and mood boards to internal stakeholders and clients. Additionally, the Interior Designer will support project documentation, conduct site visits, and perform quality checks to ensure timely and accurate implementation of designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop interior design concepts and prepare detailed layouts that meet project requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, construction teams, and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
- Source and select FF&E, including finishes, fixtures, furniture, and accessories.
- Prepare, review, and manage construction drawings and related technical documentation.
- Present design proposals, mood boards, and material selections to clients and internal teams.
- Conduct site visits and quality inspections to verify accurate implementation of designs.
- Support project documentation and maintain clear communication with multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong skills in interior design and space planning to create functional and visually appealing layouts.
- Knowledge of architecture and experience working with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Expertise in FF&E selection, including finishes, fixtures, furniture, and accessories.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools, along with basic MS Office skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with site teams, vendors, and clients.
- Previous experience in residential or commercial interior design projects is essential.
