Orbitor IT Solutions is seeking an Intermediate WordPress Developer to join their growing team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites and web applications that deliver excellent performance, security, and responsiveness. Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including themes and plugins. Optimize sites for speed, security, and responsiveness to ensure a seamless user experience. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress performance and compatibility. Convert designs from PSD, Figma, or Adobe XD into pixel-perfect WordPress themes. Implement custom post types, taxonomies, and use Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to enhance site functionality. Utilize popular page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg effectively. Ensure websites follow SEO best practices and adhere to modern web development standards. Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways as required. Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver projects on time and maintain high quality. Maintain thorough documentation and write clean, well-structured code.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development is essential. Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery is required. Strong expertise in WordPress themes, plugins, and custom development is necessary. Familiarity with MySQL databases and website migration processes is important. Understanding REST APIs and third-party integrations is expected. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, is required. Knowledge of website security, caching, and performance optimization techniques is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment is important. Effective communication skills are needed for interaction with team members and clients.
